About

Photo taken at Three Stones Gallery in Rockport, MA where she exhibits. Artwork in the background by Emily Passman and Jon Macadam.

Working primarily in oils, Amy draws inspiration from the places she loves most, seeking to capture the ever‑changing beauty of the natural world. Her work explores the interplay of bold color, light, shadow, and season across landscapes, seascapes, still life, and scenes of architecture and nautical life. These subjects are rooted in the places she calls home—along the North Shore of Massachusetts and in the south of England, where she grew up.

After studying both art and business in college, Amy pursued a career in the nonprofit sector and stepped away from painting for several years. In 2015, she felt a strong pull back to the studio, picked up her brushes again, and has painted steadily ever since. That return to practice has deepened her connection to place and process, allowing her work to evolve.

Amy has exhibited in the Arundel Festival Gallery Trail; Emerging Artist and National exhibitions at Rockport Art Association & Museum; and shows at the Newburyport and Rocky Neck Arts Associations. She is a Juried Member of the Marblehead Arts Association and currently paints and exhibits at Beach Street Studios in Manchester.
